What to Expect on a Sunday Morning

A typical Sunday morning worship service lasts about an hour, and generally includes a call to worship, announcements, prayer, singing, scripture reading, congregational sharing time, sermon (meditation, and benediction.

A variety of music is included in the worship service which is usually led by a worship team and consists of four-part singing, choruses, and special music.

Congregational sharing time is an open sharing time when people in the congregation are invited to share prayer concerns, praises, and/or announcements.

Common attire is anything from jeans and a nice shirt to suits and ties for men and dresses for women.  Please come as you are.

Other activities include:

NURSERY CARE
Nursery care is available for young children during the worship service.  The nursery is located along the south side of the sanctuary and is accessible from both the back and front of the sanctuary.

JUNIOR MESSAGE
On every second Sunday of the month, we have a special children’s time, called the Junior Message, as part of the regular morning worship.  Children ages three through second grade are welcome to come to the front during this time for a Biblical story that is appropriate for their age level.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH
On every fourth Sunday of the month, we have Children’s Church for children ages three through second grade.  Children are dismissed before the sermon and return during the song after the sermon.

VISION STATEMENT

God calls us to be followers of Jesus Christ and, by the power of
the Holy Spirit, to grow as communities of grace, joy and peace,
so that God's healing and hope flow through us to the world.
